The exhibition of disabled children from Russia opened on Tuesday in Brussels

On December 1st at 19.00 in the Centre Culturel et Scientifique de Russie in Brussels there was the opening of exhibition of disabled children from Russia. It was organized by the Russian cultural centre in Brussels, the Permanent Representative of Russia to NATO H.E. Dr. Dmitry Rogozin and his spouse Mrs. Tatiana Rogozina.

The exhibition is timed to the International Day of Disabled Persons (December 3rd), established by the UN General Assembly in 1992 (resolution No. A/RES/47/3).

At the exhibition the Russian Orthodox icons, drawings, pictures and crafts created by children from the Association INVA-Studio are presented.

Krasnodar Regional Children and Youth NGO of children with disabilities "INVA-Studio" exists since 1993. It enhances the social rehabilitation of disabled children by of art, including, firstly, the compensatory ability of the organism, and secondly, creating the necessary conditions for productive creative, artistic and social activities.

The outcome - numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Creative activity helps resolve problems in their social adaptation and rehabilitation.
